Amazon announced its Kindle Lending Library this morning. Here are the basics:

- They’re partnering with OverDrive to distribute content to libraries.
– Books will be available across all Kindle platforms, from apps to free downloadable software to actual Kindles.
– They plan to incorporate WhisperSync so borrowers can annotate books [...]
